Graintech Engineering designs, manufactures & installs innovative turn-key solutions for the feed, food, grain and seed sector globally. We service the largest grain and seed companies from around the world in the design, manufacture and installation of custom processing equipment to sites across Australia. We achieve this through the innovative design and manufacture of our own patented equipment, and through partnering with world leading Petkus products.

Our reputation is built on quality, customer service and world leading innovation. Our sustained growth, and increasing national footprint, has created an opportunity for an exceptional Accountant to join the Finance team.

This role is an integral part of the Finance function. Key tasks and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Complete routine accounting tasks
  • Complete period end (month/year) processes, activities, journals, reconciliations and reporting
  • Preparation of financial statements
  • Preparation of BAS and assist with tax return
  • Supervise / prepare payroll process
  • Maintain Fixed assets register in accordance with IFRS16/AASB16


The skills and experience you will bring to this role include:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Accounting
  • CA or CPA qualified or working towards accreditation
  • Thorough understanding of inventory management and supply chain systems and processes
  • Understanding of cost accounting
  • Demonstrated experience using accounting and ERP systems (MSDynamics is desirable)
  • Expert proficiency in MS Excel
  • Demonstrated ability to supervise a small team
