Senior ER/IR Adviser - NEW

This Sydney CBD based client is a large and complex industry leader that consists of both white and blue collar workers and is moving through significant change.  To better meet the needs of their customers, it is on a journey of transformation.  With this significant change happening an opportunity exists to join the People and Culture team as a Senior ER/IR Adviser on a 12 month fixed term basis.

About the Role
In this 12 month fixed term contract you will report into the Head of Employee Relations and will provide a specialised advisory service on complex employee relations cases, as well as, the interpretation of policies and industrial relations.  You will also ensure IR/ER compliance across the organisation is in line with relevant legislative requirements and organisational policies. 


About You
To be considered for this contract you will ideally have:
  • Degree qualification in HR, Law or Industrial Relations
  • Strong ER/IR experience including negotiation of industrial agreements and representation at Fair Work hearings etc
  • Previous experience working with a highly unionised workforce
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Demonstrated experience and success in managing change in a complex environment.
