The Role

We are looking for a 2 x Sales Specialist to join the team on a 12 Month Mat-leave cover. You will be reporting into National Sales Manager, Compounding. This role will drive sales within key accounts of the Baxter Compounding portfolios across NSW/ACT territory. You will be responsible for accurately representing the features and benefits of the Compounding portfolio to customers and potential customers, namely hospital Health Care Professionals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify incremental business opportunities and develop relevant strategies
  • Increase awareness and educate Health Care Professionals, including hospital pharmacists, hospital in the home (HITH) services, and nurse unit managers on the benefits Compoundingportfolio.
  • chieve sales targets through selling compounding services and promoting features and benefits of the Baxter Infusor and Intermate portfolio.
  • Work closely with the compounding operations team to implement growth strategies and maintain profitability.
  • Ensure account ordering needs are implemented to the customer’s satisfaction and that customer ordering practice is consistent and appropriate.
  • Monitor sales against forecasts and determine market potential for the territory.
  • Participate in territory management with the National Sales Manager, Marketing team and Healthcare Solutions teams. 

Your success in this role will be achieved through utilising your understanding of the hospital sales environment to identify and implement strategies which will penetrate and develop accounts with health professionals.

Qualifications, Skills, Knowledge and Experience:

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant degree (Science/Pharmacy/Nursing)
  • Solid understanding of hospital pharmacy practices
  • Sound customer focus and a passion for delivering customer satisfaction
  • Ability to work autonomously with a drive and determination to succeed
  • A practical nature with enthusiasm and strong team spirit
  • Strong customer focus and a passion for delivering customer satisfaction
  • Proven experience and demonstrated success within a highly competitive market
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills
  • Valid Driver’s License
