What degree, which service line?

In Assurance, Tax or Technology Risk, providing excellent relationships and delivering effective business services requires people from many different subject areas. The below descriptions are a guide only and we encourage you to research our service lines and apply for opportunities that best fit your interests and career goals, regardless of your area of study.

In Assurance we're looking for:

  • Students studying a diverse range of degrees and majoring in accounting for Assurance, external audit.
For Technology Risk we're looking for:
  • Students studying a diverse range of degrees with an interest in Technology Risk.
We're are hiring cadets in Private Client Services and Quantitative Services, part of the Tax division and also in Employment Tax and Global Mobility Tax of the People Advisory Services division:
  • If you're studying accounting, business, commerce, economics, finance or law you're encouraged to apply to Tax - Private Client Services
  • If you're studying data analytics, computer science, actuarial, mathematics, science, engineering, or a related field, you're encourage to apply to Tax - Quantitative Services
  • If you're studying business, commerce, economics, accounting or law you're encouraged to apply for Global Mobility and Employment Tax of the People Advisory Services division
Eligibility

To apply for our Cadet Program, you are required to be:

  • Students who are due to complete their degrees at the end of 2022 at the time of application
  • Available to commence 2 years of full-time work in December 2020 for Assurance and February 2021 for Tax, People Advisory Services and Technology Risk. You will be studying part-time at university over these two years.
  • An Australian or New Zealand citizen or an Australian permanent resident
