The Equipment Technician works under the direction of Senior Occupational Therapy staff, and is responsible for the modification, repair and maintenance of equipment, for the patients of CALHN at any site as appropriate. The incumbent liaises daily with occupational therapists, other allied health professionals (AHPs) and allied health assistants (AHAs), nursing staff, and outside service provides as may be necessary. This leads to improved clinical outcomes for the patients of the Central Adelaide Local Health Network (CALHN), including the Royal Adelaide Hospital (RAH), the Queen Elizabeth Hospital (TQEH), Hampstead Rehabilitation Centre (HRC) and community and ambulatory services or programs.

The Seating Technician works under the direction of Senior Occupational Therapy staff, and is responsible for the provision of clinical Seating Services to the patients of CALHN at any site as appropriate. The incumbent liaises daily with occupational therapists, other allied health professionals (AHPs), allied health assistants (AHAs), nursing staff and outside service provides, as may be necessary. The incumbent provides guidance to technical support personnel and external providers. This leads to improved clinical outcomes for the patients of the Central Adelaide Local Health Network (CALHN), including the Royal Adelaide Hospital (RAH), the Queen Elizabeth Hospital (TQEH), Hampstead Rehabilitation Centre (HRC) and community and ambulatory services or programs.
