About the Role
Reporting the Director Safety and Recovery, the Body Worn Camera (BWC) Program Manager will work alongside the team to promote, implement, monitor strategies and participate in research program linked to this pilot project.

You will have the ability and experience in:
Guiding project teams in day to day tasks; assists with managing resources and priorities and drives continuous improvement and quality control activities within the team. You will be able to develop and lead sustainable change management strategies.
Facilitating commitment to the change program as a collaborative effort between staff and managers.
Establishes and maintains communication channels and feedback mechanisms at key points in project cycles
Building and Supports the maintenance of relationships with service delivery divisions, clinical services and operational logistics, industrial bodies, Health Infrastructure and their representatives.
Providing operational context and expertise to the Body Worn Camera strategy, and incorporates this knowledge into program design, redesign projects and implementation planning and support.
Project/program management credentials and emergency services experience will be will be highly regarded.

Total remuneration package valued at $128,590 pa (including salary $97,812 pa to $116,013 pa, annual leave loading and employers contribution to superannuation). Salary packaging arrangements providing additional benefits are also available.
The successful applicant will be appointed under the terms and conditions of the Health Managers (State) Award 2019 and will be required to enter into the annual Performance Development Program.
This is a temporary full time position for a period of up to approximately 6 months with possible extension. Expected start date is as soon as possible. As this is a temporary appointment you will be provided with one months’ notice if the appointment is to cease prior to this date.
The successful applicant may be required to undertake duties at the other centres should the need arise.

Completion of NSW Health Mandatory Training courses is a mandatory requirement for all NSW Health and NSW Ambulance employees applying for this position.
Appointment to this position is subject to a satisfactory conduct and services check including referee/supervisor check, a review of National Police check and review of the Service Check Register. A review of excess annual and sick leave, PDP status, ability to undertake full duties of the position and clearances from Professional Conduct & Integrity Unit, Ambulance Education Centre and Infection Control.
Employee’s currently undertaking an ECP or ICP consolidation period are eligible to apply however will need to complete all training and return of service obligations before accepting any relief/acting opportunities.
