Permanent, full time, day work, working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing July 2020

Oral Health Services - South
In accordance with relevant policies, legal and statutory requirements, and national standards, provide leadership and coordinate the development, implementation and evaluation of quality improvement and safety activities within Oral Health Services Tasmania (OHST).
As part of the safety & quality team provide project management support in implementing requirements of relevant Australian Standards and the National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards (NSQHS) and in supporting and improving patient safety processes.
Act as a resource to OHST staff, providing advice and support and assisting in the implementation and evaluation of quality improvement and patient safety strategies.
The Head of the State Service has determined that the person nominated for this job is to satisfy a pre‑employment check before taking up the appointment, on promotion or transfer. The following checks are to be conducted:
1. Conviction checks in the following areas:
a) Crimes of Violence
b) Sex Related Offences
c) Serious Drug Offences
d) Crimes involving dishonesty
2. Identification check
3. Disciplinary action in previous employment check
