Surveillance Officer

  • $85,279 - $96,759 plus superannuation
  • Full time/Fixed term until June 2021
  • Melbourne CBD location

About the Opportunity

Reporting into the Senior Project Manager, you will play a key role in assessing completed bus stop infrastructure works to support internal and external projects across the public transport network. You will undertake a review of the completed construction and maintenance works to ensure requirements have been met and the infrastructure has been built in line with relevant standards, specifications and designs.

About You

As our ideal candidate, you will have:

  • Understanding of accessibility and disability standards
  • Proven experience in assessing completed infrastructure & maintenance works to identify defects such as cracks and batter issues, or if product built is fit-for-purpose.
  • Ability to work autonomously and complete site visits in order to make recommendations/decisions to approve completed works.
  • Proven experience and/or understanding of service relocations, earthworks, drainage and surfacing.
  • Experience in managing third party relationships and external suppliers.
  • Experience in interpreting construction & maintenance contractual agreements & designs.
  • Construction & maintenance experience.
  • Understanding of bus stop infrastructure or public transport.



  • A current, full Victorian license is essential.
