Finance Business Partner

We are seeking a Finance Business Partner to support our Technology and Wealth Management Australia businesses.  Based in our Sydney office and reporting directly to the CFO, you will partner with senior business leaders and deliver accurate and timely financial information which informs and drives strong business performance.

The role is perfect for those with a demonstrated ability to take financial information and turn it into meaningful insights for business leaders and to drive change.  Ideally we are looking for someone who has worked within a similar role supporting our Technology group.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the CFO on strategic and business planning for the Technology and Wealth Management AU businesses;
  • Provide monthly and adhoc financial performance analysis and advice to senior management, including product profitability.
  • Facilitate the end-to-end process for demand resource planning, including monitoring of onboarding, ensuring resource allocation to minimise non-productivity.
  • Financial modelling and evaluation of sales opportunities, contract negotiation and project initiations in conjunction with CFO.
  • Management of Revenue Recognition processes and systems including coordination with Project Office, preparation of contract fair value analysis, journals and investigation into forecasting and contract value discrepancies and issues;
  • Identify and managing opportunities for maximising revenue, reducing leakage and reducing costs by understanding the drivers within the business.

  • Outcome focused and have proven experience partnering with business stakeholders to drive revenue growth, productivity improvement, and transparency
  • Experienced in driving change in a technology business environment
  • Skilled in business and strategic planning, budgeting and forecasting and best practice management reporting;
  • Strong ability to analyse and communicate financial information;
  • Professionally qualified CA/CPA/ACCA;
  • Strong influencing and communication skills coupled with strong stakeholder management;
