Reporting to the Casino Manager, a key focus for the Assistant Casino Manager will be to lead and be a role model for effective customer focused strategies to deliver on Crown’s service values. You will also be accountable for contributing to the broader strategy for a designated area of business and translating this into short term outcomes for the wider team. 

Key responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Consider the customer in everything you do and develop a customer-focused culture

  • Generate and encourage ideas focused on the achievement of financial and operational targets

  • Have a passion for growth and make operational decisions that balance the needs of the customers with business priorities 

  • Role models the expected leadership behaviours and Crowns service values, translates Crown’s vision and goals into meaningful actions for your teams

  • Have a sense of urgency, demonstrates focus and drive to develop improved business capability

  • Create a culture of high performance by establishing performance expectations

Key Selection Criteria:

  • The proven ability to deliver an outstanding customer service experience 

  • Experience and expertise in coaching and developing direct reports

  • Strong influencing and stakeholder management skills 

  • Sound decision making towards achieving productivity, performance targets, gaming integrity and service expectations

  • Skilled in building constructive and effective relationships 

  • A strong sense of integrity with the ability to thrive in a compliance driven environment  

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Casino Gaming License
