The Role

Our Advice and Acquisition team currently have a unique opportunity for an experienced Advice Coach. In this role you will work closely with other key members of the Advice team to provide coaching, support and training to a productive team of Financial Planners in the areas of process, compliance and technical knowledge. Your support and expertise will ensure the team are providing quality and compliant advice to our members You will ideally have a background in financial services or a similar highly regulated environment and will be responsible for ensuring QInvest meets its regulatory and licensee advice standards.

This role is initially a six-month fixed term contract with the possibility of extension.

Please note that the location for this role is temporarily ‘work from home’ due to the current requirements for all Australians to practise social distancing amid the COVID-19 pandemic. When these requirements are lifted, this role will be based at its former primary location of Nundah or Brisbane.

Skills, Experience and Qualifications
The ideal Advice Coach will demonstrate some or most of the below:

  • Tertiary qualifications in a business-related discipline along with RG146 compliance and ability to be listed on ASIC FAR
  • Certificate IV in Assessment and Workplace Training or qualification in management or coaching would be highly desirable
  • Demonstrated experience in Financial Services industry, along with solid understanding of regulatory requirements
  • Experience in personal financial planning advice as well as proven ability in coaching and mentoring of Financial Planners
  • Ability to drive change and business improvement
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise with stakeholders at varying levels of knowledge and skills
