Wilmar Sugar Australia is the nation's largest sugar producer and a major provider of renewable electricity and BioEthanol. Our joint ventures, Sugar Australia and New Zealand Sugar, market a range of sugar and sweetener products under the familiar brands CSR, Chelsea and Equal.

Wilmar AgServices is a specialist team delivering environmentally responsible fertiliser and stockfeed products to customers throughout North Queensland. Based at the Wilmar BioEthanol distillery at Sarina, it converts a co-product of the distillery (Bio Dunder®) into a range of liquid fertilisers for sugarcane and other crops, as well as sustainable and organic liquid stockfeed supplements for graziers. Our AgServices team has a strong customer service focus and a commitment to research and development to find the most efficient solutions for nutrient delivery.

We are currently seeking applications for a Stockfeed Account Manager to join our AgServices Business team based in Sarina, approximately 35 km south of Mackay.

Reporting directly to the Stockfeed Product Manager, you will be responsible for account management of the stock feed product range, interacting with a range of existing and potential customers, including individual graziers, resellers and large-scale rural merchandise networks throughout Queensland and interstate.. You will represent Wilmar AgServices and market the stock feed product range at field days as well as other industry events.

Some of the key responsibilities for this role are:

  • Maintain and grow sales and market share for the stock feed portfolio across all sales channels as the primary contact and account manager for all customers.
  • Develop and build on existing strong business-to-business and direct customer relationships by maintaining regular customer contact and service.
  • Research, plan, prepare and implement sales and marketing plans to maintain existing accounts and develop new accounts.
  • Develop and manage technical and marketing resources, including participation and representation at industry field days and other promotional events.
  • Report sales activities in Wilmar CRM platform (Salesforce)
  • Prepare and present sales budgets, forecasts and other relevant reporting to senior management.

The successful and ideal applicant will have;

  • Agricultural experience with a strong knowledge in the cattle industry or similar
  • Strong interpersonal, planning and organisational skills
  • Excellent negotiation, influencing and communication techniques with the ability to consult with farmers and corporate level stakeholders
  • Current Drivers licence with the ability to travel independently
