Disability Support Worker

We have opportunities for enthusiastic and motivated disability support workers to work in the community with our participants. You will be responsible for the provision of high quality support and care, enhancing individual needs and participant’s independence, community participation and quality of life. You must be flexible in your availability as we need to cover, early morning, late afternoon and overnight night sleep over shifts.  This is a great opportunity if you are completing studies in this area. 

To be successful, you will demonstrate the following:

  • Personal resilience along with passion and purpose
  • Demonstrated care and  compassion to work with our clients
  • Excellent communication  skills to work with our clients to achieve their goals/outcomes
  • Excellent IT skills, with ability to use APPS, Databases, write reports and attend on line ZOOM meetings
  • Certificate III in Disability/Individual Support or working towards obtaining qualification within 6 months
  • Current unrestricted Tasmanian Driver’s Licence
  • Current Medication Endorsement or ability to attain
  • Current Level 2 Senior First Aid or ability to attain
