Launchpad has an exciting opportunity for an individual who is a self-starter, proactive and ambitious growth and product marketing professional. As the Growth Marketing Lead, you will take ownership of the agency’s marketing requirements as well as lead strategy and execute campaigns for our client's digital products. 

You’ll be a hands-on, data-driven growth marketer with demonstrated experience driving user acquisition and growing accounts. With a small team, you’ll be able to drive efficiency and results and will have the chance to grow the team as results are achieved.

A passion for product and growth marketing will help you deliver the best results, however a hunger for commercial outcomes and an ability to maximise opportunities will ultimately be the most important attributes.

  • You work tirelessly to be ahead of the curve when it comes to marketing and digital innovation.

  • Your ability to work autonomously is due to your passion for the subject matter that has pushed you to excel with an ever-growing confidence due to your knowledge that you have been building up, to support you understand the core inputs and outputs that are desired.

  • Articulating core concepts with the positives and negatives of taking a particular direction is key, as it supports your thought process for the consistent and strong delivery of work and more importantly your recommendations.

  • You are on the brink of being a subject matter expert and might also display some qualities of expertise within the practice, however, you still are not a leader and are aware you need to learn more.

  • You own core tasks and take complete responsibility of them, with enough emotional intelligence to put your hand up for feedback and help.

  • You understand that you own the client roadmaps now, and you can confidently articulate where they are at any stage. Your focus on milestones opposed to tasks is becoming more important and you are starting to think about scalable practices opposed to singular ownership.

  • You are excited by a startup environment and being a part of creating something awesome from the ground up gives you a sense of pride and ownership. 

  • You thrive on finding creative solutions, realising that they don’t always fall into your lap.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the agency’s internal marketing - Design and manage digital marketing strategies and campaigns that drive business growth and customer acquisition.

  • Launch and grow client’s digital products and businesses and drive commercial outcomes.

  • Continually improve and deliver growth marketing workshops.

  • Develop robust measurement frameworks and methodologies for clients to understand their ROI for their business and product.

  • Run strategic testing programs using leading testing platforms and going a step further and understanding what it takes for an experiment to go live in the market and how best to iterate on that approach.

  • Approach to optimisation with a strategic and data-driven mentality, that helps shape a framework for hypothesis experimentation.

  • Drive a culture of experimentation within the organization through your passion and knowledge of digital, whilst empowering people with the ability to make informed decisions based on learnings.

  • Manage a small team of high performing growth marketing professionals.

  • Analyse and report on data across multiple channels to drive decision making.

  • Meeting monthly, quarterly and annual marketing targets and KPIs.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Min 4+ years of digital marketing agency experience.

  • Experience in developing and executing strategic marketing campaigns utilising a mix of marketing channels and platforms.

  • Experience in launching new products to market and designing GTM plans.

  • Understanding of digital marketing best practice (ie - Landing page optimisation, conversion tracking, webform optimisation, A/B split testing etc)

  • Intermediate knowledge of Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager

  • Intermediate knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and other social media paid advertising platforms

  • Intermediate AdWords PPC and display advertising understanding and experience implementing and optimising campaigns

  • Strong project management and planning skills

  • Strong understanding of the entrepreneurship and startup landscape, including competitors, social, political and environmental factors.

  • Understanding of SEO best practice principles.
