Your role

This is a marine driving job with exciting extra dimensions, as you'll play a pivotal role within the Army’s distribution network.

As a member of a large and highly-organised team, you will help plan the movements of personnel, stores and equipment – and be personally responsible for their safe delivery by water.

Your specific link in the supply chain is to operate the specialised watercraft that make these deliveries at sea, on inland waterways, and as part of ship-to-shore operations.

Comprehensive training will equip you with the skills to:

•           Operate Army landing craft, amphibious vehicles and other specialised watercraft

•           Perform deck hand duties on board these vessels

•           Operate the weapons fitted to these watercraft

•           Operate communication and navigation equipment

Entry Requirements

•           At least 17 years old

•           Australian citizen

•           Year 10 completion

•           Passes in English and Maths

•           Provisional or full drivers license
