You will be working at this busy hospital and will have the opportunity to work alongside and support this hospital's senior specialists. An ideal candidate will have CPR skills and general medical abilities and be able to competently work without direct supervision (i.e. peripheral venous cannulation, arterial blood gas sampling, urethral catheterisation, ECG interpretation, lumbar puncture, use of fluids and blood products and simple suturing).
This is an acute hospital with range of inpatient and outpatient services including rehabilitation, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, general surgery, women and children's health and drug and alcohol treatment.The location

You must be a minimum of PGY3+ with at least 3 medical terms, MBBS or equivalent. It is preferred that you have full, current and unrestricted AHPRA registration. If you are within driving distance, this is preferred; however, interstate applicants will also be considered.
