Receptionist


The French Beauty Academy is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, passionate and efficient casual Receptionist to our Brisbane team for after-hours work (evenings and Saturdays approx 15 hours per week). This position will responsible for reception, administration and customer service duties - ensuring the effective and efficient running of our Brisbane Campus and Student Salon at after hours time. 

This role is located at our Brisbane Campus and would suit an experienced receptionist with excellent organisational and customer service skills who is looking for an incredible company to build their career with. 

This unique role has mixed duties, with the successful candidate working in all aspects of reception while assisting the team where required. Reporting directly to the Brand Manager, the Receptionist will deliver exceptional customer service, ensure the efficient and effective running of the salon and provide administration and brand support where required.

You will be:

  • flexible with your working hours
  • Answering phones and greeting clients
  • Representing and championing The French Beauty Academy - on the phones and with all front of house and campus management duties
  • Providing exceptional customer service 
  • General reception and administration duties - mail, invoicing, filing, groceries, data entry, campus presentation
  • Managing ordering and maintenance of inventory
  • Assisting the wider team where required

Required Attributes 

  • Availability evening and Saturdays on an ongoing basis

  • Strong Front of House reception and customer service experience

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills - including an exceptional phone manner

  • A passion for customer service and providing assistance to the wider team

  • Strong computer literacy skills 

  • Demonstrated experience in maintaining brand standards

  • An ability to develop, nurture and manage positive working relationships and deliver excellent client service with both internal and external clients

  • A demonstrated ability to manage a range of tasks  and effectively prioritise competing demands

  • Self-motivated with proven ability to problem solve and meet deadlines with minimal supervision

  • Excellent process-oriented organisational skills

  • Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail

  • Experience in beauty, luxury brands or education will be highly regarded. Passion for beauty and enthusiasm a must.
