The model is a new way of working for HBF that empowers teams to efficiently develop solutions to meet business challenges and changing member needs as we undergo this significant transformation.
Reporting directly to the Senior Analytics Manager, this role resides in Commercial Analytics team responsible for researching and devising innovative machine learning and statistical models for data analysis.
Tasked to work with decision makers within HBF to understand their data related business requirements, this role will be expected to communicate findings to all stakeholders and enable smarter business processes by providing insightful analytic outcomes.
Conveniently based in the Perth CBD, this role will be offered on a permanent basis.
To be considered for the role, applicants must have demonstrated experience in Data Science and advanced pattern recognition and predictive modelling. You will be experienced in preparing, exploring and understanding data and using Data Storytelling to present findings.
Ideally, equipped with experience in Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau, SQL, and programming languages (SAS, R, Python), you are proficient in manipulating and analysing complex data from various sources.
With a strong business acumen, you possess exceptional communication skills enabling you to work effectively at all levels in the organisation and establish strong working relationships.
You hold a Tertiary qualification in Data Science, Actuarial Science, Mathematics/Statistics, Economics, Computer Science or related discipline, and ideally possess experience in a similar role within the banking, financial or insurance sectors.
