About the opportunity

The Redesign and Clinical Change Lead is based within the Planning and Service Development Team. It plays a lead role in leading and facilitating clinical redesign and change initiatives at an organisation wide and individual clinician level.

The Planning and Service Development Team sits within the Western NSW Health Intelligence Unit (HIU). The HIU is an established shared resource for health partners in the western NSW region, as defined by the Primary Health Network boundaries, and including both the Western and Far West NSW Local Health District regions and Bila Muuji Aboriginal health services.

The HIU provides a central hub of expertise to coordinate and provide analysis of data and interpretation of information to inform clinical / operational decision making and support a collaborative approach to health and social care planning, delivery and evaluation in Western NSW.

The Planning and Service Development Team works closely with teams within the HIU, Directorates within Western NSW Local Health District and external stakeholders to lead and support effective planning processes to facilitate, coordinate and manage strategic and service planning for the Western NSW Local Health District.
