Site Operations Coordinator

Based in an idyllic rural setting in North Richmond, San Miguel family residential service provides intensive, individualised support to vulnerable young parents and their children.  San Miguel is a unique service that plays a critical role in keeping children safe and well and keeping young families together.  Parents and children receive support from a multi-disciplinary team through a combination of on-site and community based interventions that ensure children are engaged in safe, developmentally appropriate activities and their parents are supported to set and pursue family and personal goals. 

In this newly created role, the Site Facilities Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the site operates in an efficient and effective manner. You will ensure operational activities are undertaken effectively and efficiently so that client services are uninterrupted - this will include ensuring the grounds, buildings and equipment at San Miguel are fit for purpose and in good working order. You will also lead and manage a small team and oversee external contractors on site. You will also oversee the provision of practical support across the site including setting up the units, transporting the clients, child minding, ensuring the site and units have relevant resources etc. 

You will have a property or facilities maintenance background and experience in managing the general operations of a large site.  You will have experience in leading and managing a team and the ability to perform a variety of maintenance tasks and ability to solve routine problems as they arise. You will be an autonomous worker, who can also work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and will thrive in a dynamic environment where no two days are the same! 

This position involves rostered on-call responsibility which potentially includes call back to site.
