The Customer Strategy and Technology team within Transport leads the development of long-term, multi-modal strategies, plans and policies across NSW. We leverage data and insights, implement new technologies, drive innovation and build partnerships to provide customer-centred solutions.

The opportunity

Right now, we have a fixed term opportunity for a Senior Copywriter to be a part of our Brand and Creative Services team for up to 6 months. The team delivers creative solutions for a range of communication materials that support public transport, safety on roads and waterways, licensing in NSW and corporate communications across the Transport cluster. 

This is a new position to deliver highly engaging campaign and corporate materials to support the upcoming launch of the New Intercity Fleet.  As the Senior Copywriter you will craft messages which respond to insights and strategies from clients and account managers.

About you

You are a seasoned copywriter with extensive experience creating both short and longform texts, across print and digital media, adding value to marketing, brand and communication outcomes. You also have proven delivery of multi-faceted advertising campaigns.

You are highly creative and able to develop concise campaign-able writing from ideation and conception to delivery across a range of assets. 

You are highly collaborative and will have a proven ability to work within a creative team which includes designers, copywriters, account managers and marketers. This is a fast-paced team with a variety of stakeholders and the ability to work across changing priorities whilst remaining positive and flexible is essential. 

Agency experience is highly desirable along with proofreading and editing skills. Exceptional spelling, grammar and command of the English language is essential, along with the ability to interpret and apply editorial style guides.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is Transport Service Grade 8 ($115,137 - $128,952) per annum plus superannuation and leave loading.
