Fluid Power (AU) is a Northern Territory owned, rapidly growing engineering business that specialises in the design, service and supply of hydraulic equipment to the Mining, Oil & Gas and Defence industries in the Northern Territory.

We have an immediate start opportunity for an Internal Sales & Procurement Extraordinaire to join our team of 12. 

The Role includes:

  • Phone and counter sales of hydraulic components
  • Quoting workshop service jobs
  • Purchasing
  • Customer invoicing including POS and service work
  • Inventory (stock) control

Applicants must have:

  • A mechanical background
  • Excellent customer skills and an appreciation for the importance of ‘repeat business’ opportunities
  • Dedication to delivering a quality product and a quality service
  • Excellent MS office skills (MS Excel and MS Word)
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise
  • Ability to work under pressure in a busy office and workshop environment
  • Ability to work unsupervised and take ownership of role
  • Ability to learn new software
  • Desire to learn
