Your new role awaits:

As a Lead in the Investment Performance and Risk Analytics team you will inspire, engage and develop a team of five Analysts. Central to the team, we compile, analyse and produce performance returns relative to industry or mandated benchmarks for a number of Asset Servicing institutional customers. Working closely with our customers, we deliver an essential service, and ensure accuracy in all reporting by employing best practice methodologies.

We’re keen to hear from candidates who have been building the breadth of their expertise in investment performance reporting and cutting their teeth in people leadership. Perhaps you’re currently a Senior Analyst aspiring to a management opportunity in another large custodian, Global Investment or Asset Servicing firm. Your hard work on the ground with investment performance reporting coupled, ideally with post graduate qualifications in CFA/CIPM, FINSIA/Kaplan Post Graduate Diploma, Masters in App Finance or FRM will be highly valued in driving further success of the team.

Central to the role, there are three core areas of focus:

  • People leadership with credibility and breadth of expertise: lead and motivate a team of experienced Performance & Risk Analysts with monthly performance reporting, complex attribution analysis and risk-return analysis on fund performance
  • Performance Reporting with integrity of data: oversee production of customer performance reporting and ensure quality control of Analysts’ work, interpretation and analysis of returns for reasonableness and deliveries are in adherence with clients’ SLAs
  • Proactive process improvement and thought leadership: working collaboratively across departments on delivery of goals and projects, enhancing and developing the performance product offerings and overcoming roadblocks to meet customer deliverables

Your team:

The team sits within our Corporate and Institutional Division and Asset Servicing specifically provides Custody, Master Custody, Investment Administration and other related services to a range of locally and internationally domiciled clients, including federal and state government agencies and superannuation funds, investment managers, corporate and industry superannuation funds, brokers/dealers and institutional banks.
