Hume City Council's Community Centres and Safety Team is seeking an enthusiastic and self-motivated Facility Administrator with a can-do attitude for the new Greenvale Community Centre due to open in July 2020.

About the Role
The purpose of this position is to provide high-level facility administration, ensuring that the day-to-day operation of the Greenvale Community Centre is undertaken and delivered. You will provide first-rate customer service to members of the public and internal customers in a timely, professional manner and promote and facilitate community development initiatives within the centre.

Required Skills, Experience and Qualifications:

  • Relevant qualification and/or considerable administration and customer service experience in the community sector
  • Expertise in using Microsoft Office software and various Council software applications including Finance One and TRIM
  • Demonstrated capacity to manage facility booking systems and associated processes e.g. PRIAVA or similar
  • Demonstrated experience and skills in supporting community development work within a diverse community
  • Ability to achieve objectives within set timeframes, set priorities and plan and organise own work.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and demonstrate initiative
