Our client has an excellent reputation for delivering compassionate aged care services (62 bed facility) where residents receive the highest level of clinical care whilst feeling 'at home and at peace' in this beautiful, recently refurbished facility.

The facility is based SOR and offers permanent, respite and secure dementia care along with five star standard hotel services and activities within the facility. Our client has a steady team of clinical professionals and carers who have worked at this facility for a long time coupled with long standing residents, so delivering clinical excellence, best in class customer service and high standards of care is their number 1 priority at all times without exception.

The Exciting Opportunity:

An exciting leadership opportunity has become available for an experienced, talented and passionate Aged Care Facility Manager. This is a rare and unique opportunity to join a very successful business which has passed accreditation which runs highly efficiently in all areas of operations and has a great clinical and non-clinical team.

You will be responsible for ensuring that your team and facility are high performing and committed to deliver outstanding person centred care services. Additionally, you will manage the service delivery to meet resident's needs, be proficient in the Aged Care Funding Instrument (ACFI) and achieve financial occupancy and revenue targets.

On a day to day basis you will be responsible for:

  • Provide leadership and management for all activities related to care and service at the facility
  • Develop, lead and coach your team to success to deliver optimal performance
  • Develop and implement any new practices and initiatives where necessary in line with best practice and continuous improvement
  • Ensure all aspects of the budget is monitored and managed
  • ACFI funding

The Successful Applicant:

  • RN - APHRA certified helpful but not essential
  • 5 years aged care experience
  • Some ACFI experience essential
  • Understand aged care standards and accreditation
  • Strong leadership and people management experience is essential - ability to bring a team together and drive a winning culture
