Brightwater Care Group has ongoing opportunities for experienced Social Workers to join our dedicated Allied Heath Team on a casual basis, working a variety of hours. Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team the Social Worker provides appropriate and relevant Social Work intervention and services to meet the needs of Brightwater’s clients.

The ideal candidate will:

  • hold membership, or be eligible for membership, with Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW) (active membership preferred)
  • demonstrated experience as a Social Worker to assess, plan, implement and evaluate client care.
  • senior First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain within 3 months of commencement) (disability services, Brightwater At Home and interim care services, residential aged care if attending community visits).
  • Evidence of up-to-date Flu Vaccination
  • current satisfactory National Police Certificate (obtained within the last 12 months).
  • previous experience in a related environment will be highly regarded.
