Urgently Required Qualified and Experienced Cook(s) For Long established Indian Restaurants in Mid North Coast, NSW

Job Duties Includes but not limited to:-

  1. Must possess in depth knowledge of Traditional Indian cuisine and contents.
  2. Inspect food preparation and serving areas to ensure observance of safe, sanitary food-handling practices.
  3. Plan and price menu items.
  4. Must ensure efficient stock rotation.
  5. Must possess requisite knowledge of Ordering and estimation buffer stock levels to ensure smooth day to day knowledge of business.
  6. Must understand the utmost need for overall cleanliness at establishment.
  7. Must possess detailed knowledge of food handling and storage which includes Raw/ cooked meats/ poultry and sea foods.
  8. Must know how to Carve and trim meats such as beef, Lamb and chicken for  service. Also know cooking of Sea food.
  9. Examining foodstuffs to ensure quality
  10. Regulating temperatures of ovens, grills and other cooking equipment
  11. Preparing and cooking food
  12. Seasoning food during cooking
  13. Portioning food, placing it on plates, and adding gravies, sauces and garnishes
  14. Storing food in temperature controlled facilities
  15. Preparing food to meet special dietary requirements
  16. Look after kitchen maintenance and cleaning.
