The Role

This is a hybrid Business Analyst / Project Coordinator role, it reports through to the Head of Cloud Services and works within an Agile Delivery Team. The position sits at the heart of some of the companies most progressive work, projects involve optimising existing products and services, as well as building out brand new service offerings.

Your role will see you talk to a diverse range of stakeholders. You will tease requirements from academics, professors, researchers, and must be well accustomed to drawing out information from junior - senior profiles. Further to this, you will be working in-house with Agile Scrum teams, your software engineers, Scrum Masters, Product Owners, are your other major stakeholder group.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Drive high levels of communication and transparency between all stakeholders.
  • Gather requirements, tease information and needs from customers.
  • Facilitate the transformation of ideas into actual implementation plans.
  • Run workshops, create user stories, and continuously improve best practices.
  • Work closely with product owners and the wider Agile Deliver team to capture and manage requirements.

Your Profile

You will likely be a Business Analyst, Junior Project Manager or Project Coordinator, who has excellent communication skills, the ability to pick up complex ideas quickly, and be someone who brings a lot of energy to their role.

You will enjoy servicing the needs of a range of stakeholders in a fast-paced environment. You should be an excellent problem solver, with great interpersonal skills, and brilliant organization. You should also feel happy working both autonomously and as part of a close-knit team.

Your experience and skills should include most, if not all:

  • Experience as a BA in an Agile set-up (SCRUM, SAFE, KANBAN).
  • Experience coordinating complex projects and managing stakeholders at all levels.
  • An adaptive and innovative approach to rapidly changing needs and circumstances
  • Experience in the education sector, or working with researchers/academics as key stakeholders on technology projects.
  • Experience working on cloud services projects / complex data projects.
