The Director of Finance and Procurement (Chief Financial Officer) is responsible for providing high quality, timely and accurate financial management and procurement advice and services to the Executive of the National Archives of Australia (NAA) to ensure all obligations under the Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Act are met. You will lead the section to support business areas to understand and apply the Commonwealth financial framework and the compliance requirements.
Reporting to the Assistant Director-General Corporate Services, the CFO will provide strong financial stewardship and change leadership, and is responsible for financial governance and procurement within the National Archives, in addition to providing day to day management and hands on support for the delivery of traditional finance and procurement activities. The role will also be responsible for driving change through better utilisation of the National Archives' financial management information systems and to develop new partnerships with business areas to improve financial and procurement practices and outcomes across the National Archives.
