Retail Resource Planning Analyst

About Us

Central Operations looks to understand all functions across our supermarkets to empower and support our retail teams, identifying opportunities to simplify and innovate how we operate to better service our customers.

The role

As a Retail Resource Planning Analyst, you’ll work with multiple operations stakeholders to create effective work standards, business rules and logic (relating to store operations) for application in our rostering system. This includes the capture, analysis, modelling, measurement and reporting on predetermined criteria with increased accuracy, flexibility and consistency.

You’ll own and manage the data logic changes to the rostering system for designated departments, ensuring the system accurately reflects all labour tasks and rates to meet business requirements that support our customers and store teams.

You’ll have the opportunity to lead from the front, acting as the labour standards subject matter expert for designated departments. This will allow you to create process maps, embed an understanding of the rostering system and support the successful delivery of business initiatives with the right rostering budgets.

This is a 12 month maternity leave opportunity.

To be successful, you’ll have:

  • demonstrated experience with business process analysis, development of work standards, documentation of work processes and/or operations logic
  • strong research and data analysis skills, relating detail to big picture requirements and succinctly presenting recommendations
  • managed operational projects or change initiatives and the demonstrated ability to deliver when under time/resource pressures
  • the ability to work effectively in cross functional teams, developing strong relationships, sharing knowledge and coaching others as a trusted advisor on metrics and business case support
  • proven experience in retail/store operations, combined with strong knowledge of MS Office suite skills
