We have an opportunity for a Mechanical Reliability Engineer to join our Maintenance Services team at Australia’s largest coal export terminal in the heart of Newcastle. Reporting to the Superintendent Maintenance Support, you will apply a continuous improvement mindset to eliminate the causes of mechanical failures and develop strategies that drive plant reliability and operational excellence at our world-class coal terminals. You will be responsible for analysing data, completing and reviewing detailed investigations and overseeing the completion of preventative maintenance tasks.

This is a challenge that calls for strong problem solving and communication capabilities, combined with a genuine commitment to the environment, community and safety. You will be tertiary, or trade qualified with a relevant mechanical qualification, and have a strong understanding of condition monitoring and lubrication techniques. Experience in using a computerised asset management system, interpreting condition monitoring data and working in a heavy industrial environment is essential.
