The Role
We are looking for a either an experienced Systems Engineer who is looking to marry their passion for technology with their passion for people connections to jump start their career in the sales field, within an up and coming Company or a Pre-Sales Engineer with experience in a MSP company within the small to medium sized market.  Joining the Account Management Team, the successful candidate will utilise their practical working technology knowledge to conduct Internal Sales and Quoting.

The successful candidate will have:         

  •  A funky pair of socks (but if you don't, we will give you some when you start and, on your birthday).
  • Qualifications that are relevant to the position.
  • Proven work experience as a Pre-Sales Engineer or a demonstrated background in a technical role that will allow you to seamlessly transition into this Client facing role.
  • Solid technical background with hands on experience in digital technologies.
  • Quoting experience working with products such as Quosal or Sell would be highly regarded, but not essential
  • Pre-sales technical knowledge of as many of the following products as possible, would be highly regarded:
    • UTM (Watchguard)
    • L2 and L3 small business switches (Cisco SG)
    • Microsoft Server Solutions
    • Microsoft 365 Technologies
    • Microsoft Azure Solutions
    • Dell server hardware (Poweredge/VRTX)
    • NBN and Business Internet/WAN solutions
    • Wireless solutions (Ubiquiti)
    • NAS hardware (Netgear)
    • IP Telephony (3CX)
  • The ability to conduct Solution Design:
    • Must be able to work with senior solutions engineer to compile complex project proposals
    • Experience in project labour estimations and scoping
  • An ability to grasp customers’ needs and suggest timely solutions.
  • A valid Manual Driver's Licence.
  • Highly skilled relationship management skills and professional presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional planning and organisation skills.
  • High level written and documentation skills.
  • High degree of attention to detail.
