About the role

This role will see you coach others and build capacity in business process mapping techniques and continuous improvement activities across the organisation. You will work with various teams to identify a variety of solutions to solve business problems, focusing on the ‘value add’ for the customer.

You will support the organisational objectives around continuous improvement through documentation and validation of both current and future-state business processes, while contributing to the development of business knowledge, process maps, systems interfaces and business needs. Further you will lead process improvement initiatives including development of project plans, communication plans and change management plans in line with agreed methodologies.

In this role you will:

  • Manage a range of key stakeholders across Council to successfully facilitate service delivery improvements.
  • Facilitate and lead discussions focussed on efficiency gains and improving service delivery to the community.
  • Provide advice to guide and influence the success of improvement opportunities through the adoption of continuous improvement across the organisation.
  • Design and deliver training and engagement mechanisms to support Casey’s flexible working model.
  • Respond to issues related to Casey’s flexible working model using practical and effective solutions.
  • Effectively deploy key communication skills to engage key business units and effectively manage the process improvement journey.
  • Support the business to envision the future state and assess the change impact.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement underpinned by cross functional customer focused data.
  • Monitor and report on performance against objectives and manage project risks and issues.
  • Consistently deliver projects on time, on budget and to the agreed standard.

About you:

  • Completion of secondary education plus: a degree or diploma with some relevant work experience; or  lesser qualifications with substantial relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience utilising business process mapping methodologies and developing solutions.
  • Demonstrated facilitation skills across a wide range of groups and levels within organisations.
  • Demonstrated experience in Project Management.
  • Experience in managing numerous key stakeholders and being able to demonstrate value add.

 Salary: starts at $87,240 (Band 6) per annum pro rata, plus superannuation.
