Assistant Valuer

The incumbent will be required, under supervision, to assist in the undertaking of urgent and sensitive valuations for government agencies. Developing a strong working relationship with internal stakeholders is essential.

Valuer General Victoria (VGV) provides professional valuation services and expertise to and on behalf of Government. This comprises two key functional areas:

  • Government Valuations – for Whole-of-Government property transactions; and
  • Rating Authority Valuations – Certification and/or provision of Municipal Valuations.

Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications

  • Partial or full completion of an appropriate tertiary qualification and preferably with student membership of the Australian Property Institute.
    • A current Victorian drivers' license is required.

This is an ongoing position.
