Project Analyst - Energy

Title: Project Analyst – Energy (12 Month Fixed-Term Contract)

Work location: Fortescue Centre, East Perth

Roster: Monday to Friday

Your role will be to setup, manage and maintain a comprehensive multi-facetted project assessment and decision-making matrix from investigation through implementation.

Take the lead and perform a variety of tasks such as gather and analyse data to establish and maintain a comprehensive changing data base, in order to provide support, preparing various reports that cover forecast reports, status, and other management related reports.

Key accountabilities:

  • Gather critical data of the project, analysing and summarizing information so it assists with key decision making and reporting key metrics
  • Research project opportunities, by identifying trends that can optimise project performance
  • Develop, design and establish the reporting standards and principles
  • Coordinating in the preparation of external and internal reports
  • Analyse the defined program goals and targets, and communicate requirements and changes to needed to optimise the project
  • Report on project deliverables and schedules, identifying when project anomalies are discovered

Qualifications and skills required:

  • Extensive experience in commercial and technical analytics
  • Strong systems knowledge and capability to efficiently process large data sets
  • Tertiary qualification in Commerce, Engineering, Computing or other
  • MBA is highly regarded
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Advanced computer skills
  • Highly motivated and proactive individual, comfortable working autonomously in a complex environment
