Coordinator Finance And Administration


Waroona Community Resource Centre which incorporates the Waroona Family Support Service is a well- established community based, not for profit organisation, providing a focus for people gathering together for friendship, provision of assistance, advocacy and support together with exchange of information and mutual growth.    
We are seeking to employ a Coordinator Finance and Administration that will work on a part time basis (15 hours per week). Applications are sought from suitably qualified and motivated individuals who believe they possess the characteristics required to fill this role and join our dynamic team of professionals. 

You will supervise a small team undertaking a range of administrative responsibilities, control and manage financial processing including payroll, accounts payable and receivable together with using financial systems. The role will also include preparation and lodgement of BAS statements, monthly and end of financial year  reporting requirements together with PAYG tax and superannuation obligations.  

There will also be a requirement to prepare budgets, manage operational finances, analyse financial data and prepare financial management reports. Other responsibilities will include the provision of support and assistance in preparing funding submissions, grant applications and associated acquittal processes are other responsibilities attached to the position.   

To meet the expectations of this position you will need to demonstrate considerable experience within a budgetary and financial management environment, supervisory  skills, be able to communicate with Aboriginal and culturally diverse members of the community, have the ability to analyse information and resolve problems, work in a team environment  and complete activities within set time frames. Possession of an appropriate qualification will be well regarded.
