Guest Services Agent

An exciting opportunity is now available for a professional and highly motivated individual to join our Front Office Team.  Situated in the beautiful Southern Highlands, The Gibraltar Hotel Bowral features 76 luxury accommodation suites, Harvey’s Bar and San Fior Dining Room, 7 meeting rooms including the largest event space in the Southern Highlands, an 18 hole Golf Course and heated indoor pool and gymnasium.

Your scope of responsibilities will include:

  • Performing check in and check out procedures for all guests
  • Resolving guests’ special requests, issues and complaints in a pleasant and solution based manner
  • Processing reservations via phone, email or through online reservations
  • Answering phones and general administration duties
  • Maintaining effective guest profiling

The successful candidate should ideally possess:

  • Previous experience within a similar role in a hotel environment with a working knowledge of front office systems being most desirable
  • Understanding of Revenue Management principles
  • A high level of problem solving skills and good time management
  • Exceptional grooming standards and customer service
  • An ability to work well under pressure
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Self-Motivation, reliability and honesty

This is a casual position working shifts a range of shifts from 7am – 3pm or 1pm – 9pm including weekends and Public Holidays.
