As part of the Lifestyles Intervention team, you will be responsible for the direct delivery and support of the School Leave Employment Supports (SLES) program for a group of participants.
The ideal incumbent will have a commitment to the rights, personal development and empowerment of people with disability through direct service delivery to individuals with a cognitive impairment, develop and maintain employer engagement & relationships, whilst providing support and advice to Team Leader, as required.
Relevant employment experience and knowledge of SLES is advantageous, along with the awareness of community services and programs. Industry experience in a similar role will be highly regarded.
The nature of SLES requires travel for work in different areas of South Australia, including commencing work in other sites and at any Barkuma location as directed, along with after-hours work. A company 'tool of the trade' vehicle may be available.
Successful candidates must have a current Disability Services Clearance and Working with Children Check, along with a current South Australian Driver’s licence.
This position will be mainly based out of our Elizabeth office, however, options for other locations such as South Terrace, Adelaide and Holden Hill may be considered.
