How will I Help?
Exciting opportunity to join our Home Ownership Services division.
Home Ownership Services is a key part of our Group Operations team and is responsible for bringing our Group vision to life by building a team of the best home loan experts focused on delivering ‘magic’ moments for our customers, business partners and each other.
We are seeking 1st party Credit Assessors to join our 1,400 strong team (situated in Sydney, Adelaide, Bangalore and Manila) help approximately 245,000 customers buy a home per annum.
You will be challenged to assess the viability of customer applications/requests and credit worthiness by determining the accuracy of information and ensuring compliance to policy requirements for improved customer outcomes. Consumer lending is an integral part of our business - this is an opportunity to advance or begin your career in banking. No two days are the same – you will be challenged to think critically and rigorously assess information to create solutions for our customers.
What do I need:

  • You will have proven experience utilising your analytical skills and strong attention to detail; ideally experience in credit or exposure to quality assurance, balance sheets or credit structures
  • Previous experience in banking, lending, accounting and/or financial services is highly regarded
  • Structured approach to achieving outcomes with a focus on integrating people, processes, and technology
  • Knowledge of Consumer credit policy, products and processes (desirable)
  • Passion for building relationships with internal and external stakeholders to collaborate for improved customer outcomes
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Ability to meet key performance indicators
  • Well-developed written/verbal communication
  • Tertiary qualification and/or relevant industry experience
