Associate, Employment, 2-4 Years' Experience


Role

We are seeking an Associate to join our growing Sydney employment team, predominantly working on employment, industrial relations and work health and safety matters. The mix of work is litigation and advisory services.

We are looking for candidates who are team players, who can develop and maintain excellent client relationships and who are keen to be involved in marketing/business development and client training activities.

Team

Kennedys has operated in Australia since 2006 when we opened our Sydney office and more recently in 2017 we strengthened our practice by opening an office in Melbourne.

  • Global and national insurers and underwriters
  • SME’s
  • Health sector agencies
  • Private clients
  • Public owned entities

Cases

  • Fair work commission, discrimination, wrongful dismissal, EO and Human rights.

Required experience

  • 2-4 years’ experience, within employment and general litigation*
  • Knowledge and understanding of employment law in New South Wales and Victoria
  • Experience and knowledge of employment tribunal processes and procedures
  • Ability to manage own time, excellent organisation skills and attention to detail
  • High level of professionalism and integrity, displaying the highest standard of professional ethics.
