Sydney Local Health District is seeking an experienced Nurse Manager to join our team at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital!

Do you have a recent management experience with experience in leading staff and managing services, supported by a relevant tertiary management qualification and/or work experience?
This position is responsible for the coordination of the newly created Advanced GI Surgical Program, particularly the Pelvic Exenteration and Peritonectomy surgery programs including providing high level clinical expertise, development of key documents and processes such as model of care pathways, clinical protocols and business rules, monitoring and reviewing clinical activity and costing reports, and organising clinical educational forums.
This will incorporate the development and coordination of a new Advanced GI Surgical Nursing Training Program including determining specific program competencies, pre and post rotation assessments of program trainees, formal evaluation tools and overall program monitoring. This position will be required to oversee the clinical nurse consultants/nurse practitioners responsible for mentoring the program trainees during their rotations and working together to ensure a successful training program.
