This business is one of Australia's largest wholesalers of construction products for the residential and commercial building markets. They provide a range of supplies which are predominately all for structural building purposes.

From humble beginnings as a family business, they have now grown to be a national industry leader, supplying major retailers such as Bunnings, Mitre10, Home Timber and hardware, as well as hundreds of independent retailers throughout Australia.

Position

The position of NSW Warehouse and Operations Manager has now become available. The position is responsible for running the NSW distribution and ensuring the economic and service efficiency, along with all safety measures out of the warehouse facility are run at an optimum level.

You will have total ownership over the states distribution performance and most importantly ensuring that service agreements on delivery deadlines are met to client expectations.

You will set all KPI's and performance targets, have full warehouse head count responsibility and you will be in charge of running and maintaining all WH&S protocols.

The role is a senior member of the national management team and you will have direct input into the national operations and warehousing strategies.

Candidate

To be considered for the position it is essential for all candidates to have experience as either a state warehouse/operations manager, or at a minimum you must have been a lead foreman and looking to take the step up into a warehouse management capacity.

You must have experience in setting rosters and organising staff resources, as well as be very competent and up to date with WH&S legislation.

Experience within the building supplies sector is not essential but would be an advantage, however it is essential to have worked in a large scale warehouse with a high volume of inventory being dispatched daily.
