About our Monash Women’s Casey Hospital

Monash Health is the largest public health service in Victoria, employing over 18,000 people across a range of specialities.

Our maternity service is the largest maternity provider in Victoria providing care to over 9,000 women each year across three hospitals: Monash Medical Centre, Dandenong and Casey. Monash Women's provides maternity care for well women and women with more complex and specialty needs.

About the Role:

We are excited to announce opportunities to work across a full scope of practice within our Maternity Services at our rapidly growing Casey hospital.

As a Registered Midwife, you are able to work across areas of Antenatal/ post-natal and Birth Suite. We are a collaborative service across Monash Women’s, and Casey Maternity has opportunities to grow in provide women centred care. We work within a team model of care - Ruby, Diamond and Sapphire teams and in practicing within this model, we provide our women and their families, a consistency across their journey.

We have fixed term Maternity Leave, opportunities rotating across a 7 day, 24-7 roster

Why Casey Hospital?

  • Expanding Services to Monash Health Casey which will lead to booking women from low to increasingly higher levels of complexity with Critical care services being on site to support their journey
  • We offer services across the Casey and Cardinia catchment areas, the most rapidly growing areas in the state. Our numbers of births are growing along with the population growth in this area.
  • Casey Hospital clinic facilities are run in a state of the art community clinic at Pakenham.
  • Caseload program is also included in all three teams (Diamond, Ruby and Sapphire) affording local women the gold standard of continuity of care
  • Casey hospital provides a Young Women’s’ clinic to our community.

What you need:

  • Successful completion of a Graduate Midwifery Program is essential. Minimum 12 months experience
  • Willingness to work within the maternity team
  • Australian working rights
  • Current AHPRA registration
