Clinical Assistant/Reception


The Clinical Assistant/Receptionist is required to work 1.5 days per week and will be required to be on standby to do relief work for the rest of the week (this position will suit someone who doesn't have another position).  To successful candidate will be provided with full training.

The duties:-

  • Perform ophthalmic testing using various different equipment
  • Pressure tests, OCT etc.
  • Data entry
  • Assist with procedures
  • Filing, cash handling
  • Assist in the development of procedures
  • Dictaphone typing (if required)
  • Make appointments
  • All general reception duties
  • Other duties as required

To be successful in this position, you will need to be able to work under pressure as this is a very busy practice.  If you have reception and/or a nursing background and are willing to learn new skills/duties, then this position may be suitable.
