The Role:

In this role you will establish and build relationships with key players and develop strategic planning in order to create further business growth.

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Creating business opportunities for the organisation to increase market share and growth
  • Coordinate and organise branding opportunities to create the organisations awareness within the community
  • Committing to establishing positive relationships with stakeholders
  • Ensuring budget requirements are met when working on business development opportunities
  • Developing and implementing strategic planning of services in order to achieve the best possible financial outcomes
  • Complete administrative responsibilities associated with the role
  • Ensure occupational health and safety protocols are adhered to and ensure risks for staff, residents and visitors are always assessed and managed

Skills & Experience:

  • Business Development and stakeholder management experience is essential
  • Experience working in a similar role within the Disability or Aged Care sector
  • Strong skills in sales, marketing and leadership
  • Ability to think innovatively  
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate with people from diverse backgrounds
  • First Aid Certificate, Working With Children’s Check (WWCC) and a Police Check is essential and but may be obtained during the recruitment process
  • Ability to multi-task and complete tasks in a timely manner
  • Passionate and highly motivated to achieve the best possible care for people with a disability
  • Sound computer skills using CRM systems and other MS Office programs (MS Word, MS Excel & PowerPoint)
  • Valid Driver’s license is essential
