Supervisor - Multi Discipline

The Role  Trace JV are looking for an experienced Multi Discipline Supervisor to join our Onshore team.

The role will see you responsible for the field supervision, organisation and management of labour within their direct work group to ensure that all work is delivered on schedule and to required quality and client specifications. To be successful in this position you’ll utilise your previous experience in supervising multidiscipline (Mechanical, Electrical, Rigger/Scaff) trade teams. This role will see you living local in Darwin, working a 2 on 2 off roster.


  • Trade qualification (relevant trade) or relevant demonstrable experience.
  • Current

First Aid Certificate

  • Cert 4 Leadership & Management (Highly Desirable)
  • High Risk Licenses (Highly Regarded)

Skills & Experience

  • Manage a multidiscipline team of blue collar resources as their supervisor (potentially on nightshift).
  • Responsible for multidiscipline construction activities (rigging, mechanical, welding, electrical, instrumentation, lifting, scaffolding, as required).
  • Demonstrate safety leadership
  • Ensure that safe and ethical working practices are carried out.
  • Assist with work pack creation.
  • Provide shift progress reporting / actively monitor work progress.
  • Participation in preparing punch lists.
  • Develop permits / risk assessments in due time with needed technical and HSE documentation.
  • Liaison with operations personnel to ensure permits are being issued and participate in the timely resolution of any issues in this space.
  • Participate to Pre-Job / toolbox meetings, pre-Simops visits, etc. as required.
  • Understanding of Project completion systems and close out documentation / processes.
  • Ensure all work scopes are completed as detailed in the work packs.
  • Complete sketches for additional fabrication works and assist in the identification and preparation of construction related change requests / TQs.
