Based in regional NSW, Summit Cranes is a fast growing Crane and Labour hire company and is a specialised supplier to the Resource & Construction industries, including Mining, Gas & Oil and large scale construction. The Role

We are seeking an experienced, enthusiastic and dynamic Human Resources Manager to ensure smooth operations of Summit Crane’s headquarters in Dubbo, through coordinating and supporting the recruitment and onboarding process. A key aspect of this role is maintaining and managing all facets of recruitment and HR related administration, allowing the Director and managers to focus their attention on the rapidly growing business. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of the HR Management System
  • Undertake end to end recruitment
  • Manage and maintain employee records
  • Be the first point of contact for all employment queries
  • Provide advice and support to managers ensuring they are informed of their obligations when managing HR and IR issues
  • Ability to identify and implement improvements to current recruitment  processes
  • Organising travel, accommodation and itineraries
  • Ad hoc administrative tasks

Desirable qualifications and experience: 

  • Tertiary Qualification in Human Resources or a related field
  • Proven ability to build strong professional relationships quickly and use influence positively
  • 5+ years proven experience in HR management - Previous experience in the Construction industry will be highly regarded
