The purpose of the Deposits Tribe is to provide products that are simple, easy to use and enable our customers to bank with confidence. Through the design, manufacture and management of a simple range of savings and transaction products to bring the customer proposition to life for our Retail and Business customers.

 

As an Asset Governance Manager (known internally as a Journey Expert), in our Well-Managed chapter, your mission is to support the accurate, reliable and sustainable delivery of ANZ’s products & services through active oversight and management of the assets and systems that are owned by the Deposits Tribe.

 

This includes 3 of ANZ’s Core Systems, Customer and Account Processing (CAP), Core Transaction Management (CTM) and V2 Plus, as well as other non-mainframe based assets that relate to the delivery of our Deposit products.

 

Supporting the Deposit’s General Manager as the business asset role owner for these systems, your role will be to proactively oversight & coordinate the effective management across the technology disciplines in line with ANZ’s Asset Accountability Model:

 
  • Security – Protect or enable our processes, services, products or information across ANZ systems
  • Business Rules and Automation - Effective definition, features or functionality, and optimization of business logic / rules
  • Technology Resilience – Adequate system resilience and availability to prevent or recover from downtime or outages
  • Third Parties and Partners – Actively monitor partners and third parties (or their third parties) that handle, process and / or store ANZ electronic data
  • Data - Monitor the availability, retention, and latency of data within ANZ systems
  • IT Asset Lifecycle Management - IT assets critical to the process are accounted for and kept current, and any remediation actions identified are documented and completed
  • Change and Release Management - Changes arising from initiatives/new solutions are appropriately tested and transitioned into operations, and any remediation actions are documented and completed
 

You will be the key conduit between our technology partners, frontline & operations teams to ensure that the technology disciplines are well adhered to, ultimately ensuring that our systems are fit for purpose and operating within a transparent and sound risk profile.

  • Technology domain experience preferably across multiple technology disciplines
  • An understanding of Technology Industry standards
  • Expertise in risk management, governance or operational excellence
