AP Service Delivery Lead - 12-Month Contract

The Role:

On a 12-month fixed term contract, you will be working with a small team in our Rowville National Support Office. You will support the GPC Asia Pacific Group of Companies by leading, guiding and mentoring an offshore AP team to deliver services in line with company expectations and commitments. You will handle general and escalated enquiries, monitor compliance and adherence to set deliverables, and be actively involved in the development of our offshore team, with particular focus on systems and technical requirements and maintenance.

Other responsibilities include:

  • Manage full-range accounts payable enquiries
  • Develop strong peer and stakeholder relationships
  • Streamline, standardise and improve processes and activities
  • Maintain meaningful regular communications with offshore team
  • Respond to internal and external AP enquiries in a timely, effective and solutions-driven manner
  • Resolve complex systems issues and participate in systems testing
  • SLA and KPI reporting

To be successful you will have:

  • A strong commercial acumen, and shared services experience
  • Solid experience in a fast-paced Accounts Payable / Shared Services environment
  • Experience gained from a large business format
  • Tertiary qualifications in Accounting or similar (CPA qualified or completing ideal)
  • Innovative thinking abilities, with a solutions-driven approach
  • Advanced excel skills (macros)
  • Sound computer skills, and systems experience
  • A proactive, professional approach, with a customer centric mentality
  • Willingness to learn more and to be an all-rounder
  • Ability to build trust quickly and work effectively with remote teams
