  • Location: 8 Nicholson St, East Melbourne An exciting opportunity for an experienced Executive and Business Support Officer to provide administrative support within the Climate Change Policy Branch.

The successful candidate will be the executive assistant to two Directors and will provide a range of functions in support of the wider branch, including secretariat, business and project support. The Executive and Business Support Officer will provide a pivotal point of contact for internal and external stakeholders and will have proven experience working with senior executives. The Executive and Business Support Officer will be willing to take on accountabilities and duties in a flexible and proactive manner to reflect the needs of the executive team and division more broadly.

Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in providing administrative and executive support to a senior executive, Government experience preferred. Proven ability to manage priorities and others' emotions, clarify problems and identify solutions.
  • Experience in delivering a range of executive and business support functions. Proven skills in utilising and managing business systems, including maintenance of databases and use of Lotus Notes, MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

This is a fixed term position available for a period of 12 months. Applicants must possess corresponding work rights to be eligible for appointment.
